The Safety and Security Volunteer Team
The Safety and Security Volunteer Team will assist in ensuring that the Canoe Journey 2011 is safe including traffic control, emergency communications, and other aspects of event security.
Hours and Location
The Safety and Security Volunteer Team will work in 4-hour shifts beginning Monday, July 25 through Sunday, July 31. Safety and Security Volunteers will need to check in at the Police Dept Training Room (located under Special Services) before starting work.
Training Requirements
Training will be required for some Safety and Security positions. A training schedule will be provided at a later date.
