The Public Works Volunteer Team

The Public Works Volunteer Team will work on waste management (along with PME), water-provisioning, set-up, take down, and grounds keeping. Some of the jobs on this team have physical requirements so be sure to read the descriptions carefully when signing up for a particular job. For example, some require the ability to lift a certain amount of weight.

Hours and Location

The Public Works Volunteer Team will work in 4-hour shifts beginning Monday, July 25 through Sunday, July 31. Volunteers will need to check in at the volunteer site before starting work.

Early submission of application dating girl class documentation is encouraged. See links below under “Application Process”.

Application Process for Public Works Volunteers:

1. Sign up as volunteer for Paddle to Swinomish.

2. Complete and Submit:

Hard copies of the above form(s) can be obtained at the front desk of the Tribal Administration Building, the Tribal Social Services Building, Shelter Bay, LaConner Library and LaConner Chamber of Commerce.
